	OK, looking at `include/private/gcconfig.h` it seems that there's no
	FreeBSD clause in the IA64 section (see line 1752), which means that
	there's currently no FreeBSD/ia64 support. ALIGNMENT being undefined is
	only the first symptom.

	Unfortunately I don't know enough about boehm-gc and ia64 to really help
	you here. There's `doc/porting.html` if you want to try your luck with that.
