Hi,

I tried using the session-cookie option in httperf.
My file is as follows:

#session 1
http://www.google.com
http://lc2.law5.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/login

Both of the above urls have a cookie set in their
responses. As per the man pages, whenever a second
cookie is recd. then it is supposed to overwrite
the existing one.

But always, the cookie that is set by the first
url, i.e google in this case, seems to be
sent in future requests, even though i have only
one session. Is this the way it is supposed to
work ? Follg is what i executed :

httperf --client=0/1 --port=2234 --server=xxx --print-request header
--print-reply header --http-version 1.0 --no-host-hdr --verbose
--wsesslog=2,45,file --session-cookie

Also, only part of the cookie recd in the response,
is being sent in the request header of the further requests.

Say, for eg: if cookie recd. is :

Set-Cookie: PREF=ID=094b40285eb2a48f:TM=1003817274:LM=1003817274;
domain=.google.com; path=/; expires=Sun, 17-Jan-2038 19:14:07 GMT

the cookie sent in future requests is :

Cookie: PREF=ID=0282f96961104563:TM=1003817415:LM=1003817415q

Thanks,
-Gayathri
