hello,

i am running multi gigabit bandwidth tests, and in my setup the limit
seem to be httperf regarding file descriptors.
tried to compile 0.9 with TIME_SYSCALLS=1 or without.
command :
httperf --hog --server=192.168.1.141 --port 8080
--wsesslog=5000,0,album.session --timeout=10 --think-timeout=0
--rate=120
httperf: warning: open file limit > FD_SETSIZE; limiting max. # of
open files to FD_SETSIZE
...
Errors: total 2019 client-timo 496 socket-timo 0 connrefused 0 connreset 8
Errors: fd-unavail 1515 addrunavail 0 ftab-full 0 other 0

i of course changed the ulimit before that

(album.session is downloading a lot of images and launching a few php
scripts ...)

Would you have an idea on how to solve that ?
note i should probably try to launch several httperf on several servers,
i but i have a small number of 10Gb cards right now

thanks, paul.
