I think the concern was the amount of memory required. As long as you have adequate memory on your client, I think you should be ok in making the change. If you discover otherwise, please send your findings to the list.

I am getting the following error when I use wsesslog and lots of
sessions:
httperf: too many sessions (1001) specified in httperf_wsesslog
Is there any harm or caveats in setting MAX_SESSION_TEMPLATES higher and
recompiling?
