Printing and scanning devices is a major component of
HP businesses. People interact with paper and devices on
a everyday basis. In developing countries paper and the
devices that print them are used in enterprises, homes and
shops. We need to understand how we can create new printing
experiences and solutions for these set of users.
Our research focuses on how users work with printing devices
and their responses to printed documents. We study users
in various situations, like enterprises, small businesses,
and homes. The objective is to make printing a user-friendly
and efficient activity and discover new business revenue
models for HP in the varied settings of the emerging markets.
