Title: “Synergies in Web 2.0 and SOA Trends”

Abstract

The last seven years saw two major technology trends that are significantly influencing businesses. – SOA on the services side and Web 2.0 and Rich Internet Applications on the client side. These trends are not independent and mutually drive one another’s adoption opening up new vistas. This presentation will examine this synergy and cover the key technology trends, run times, development tools that are essential to the effective realization of the emerging models and architectures.

About the Speaker:

Ananth is currently the Director of Engineering at the Platform Business Unit of Adobe. In this role, he manages the business that encompasses some of the Adobe’s core RIA products such as Flex. Prior to Adobe, Ananth had an extensive experience at Hewlett Packard as a senior manager in C/C++/Java compiler products and grid computing. System technology and tools, embedded and real time systems are the core areas where Ananth had worked on prior to his management career and has many conference papers. Ananth holds a Master degree in Electronics from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and a Master of Science degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
