An International Workshop on Technology for Education |

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together researchers in the relevant technologies and interested academics from across the world to give presentations of research results and to discuss research directions.

Winter School on Interactive Technologies

The aim of the Winter School, an initiative from
UKINIT, was to quickly and effectively create a shared
understanding of the state of the art in interactive
technologies among the Networking members from India
and UK. The two day Winter School will comprise lectures
and hands-on group work. Lectures will cover research
topics such as haptics and multi-touch interaction
along with pragmatic issues, including opportunities
for funding research in these areas.

Summer Workshop on Ontology, NLP, Personalization
and IE/IR

HP Labs India in collaboration with the Indian Institute
of Technology (IIT), Mumbai organized a Summer Workshop
on Ontology, NLP, Personalization, Information Extraction
and Information Retrieval. The Workshop faculty were
renowned experts in their respective fields.

Summer School in Document Image Processing (SSDIP)

HP Labs India in collaboration with the Indian Institute
of Science (IISc) organized a Summer School in Document
Image Processing with a special focus on document
image analysis and understanding. The faculty included
eminent professors from IISc and Universities abroad.
