In his keynote speech, Robison talked about how HP is uniquely
positioned among IT companies to build a digital media platform
for the future of the entertainment industry.
He announced partnerships
with such entertainment powerhouses as DreamWorks
and Warner Brothers, and discussed work with Starbucks
and Hear Music to enable coffee drinkers to create custom-mixed
CDs in the store.
"We're leveraging our full portfolio of products, technologies
and services to help you capitalize on the digital revolution,"
Robison told broadcasters. "HP is focused on driving this
today."
