Biography

Eduardo Argollo is Research Scientist at HP Labs since 2007. Eduardo received his Computer Science MS degree in 1997 at the Catholic University of Salvador, in Brazil. From 1997 up to 2002 Eduardo worked with ERP systems, databases and data warehousing development.

In 2006, Eduardo received his PhD in Computer Science from the University Autonoma of Barcelona, in Spain. His PhD research presented a methodology to efficiently attain high-performance from a collection of internet-connected geographically distributed multi-clusters.

From September 2006 to June 2007, Eduardo held a post-doc position at the CoreGRID Network of Excellence in Passau, Germany. His post-doc work involved automatic parallelization of applications using higher-order Grid components.

His current research interests include system-level simulation, virtualization and parallel computing middleware.
