I am a researcher in the Cloud and Security Lab, focused on hardware-level based performance profiling for large infrastructures.

I hold a B.Sc. in Telecom Engineering majoring Electronics and a M.Sc. in Telecom Engineering from the University of Valladolid (Spain). Later I got a M.Sc. in Distributed Systems and a Ph.D. (with honours) from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). I have been a visiting researcher at the EPCC (The University of Edinburgh) and the Charles University in Prague.

I was assistant professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela, as well as a lecturer and lab instructor in several computing courses. Prior to this, I worked at the Centre for Telecommunication Development in Spain as a developer. In addition, I have actively collaborated in two open source communities in Spain.
