Biography
At HP Labs Mary has worked on a diverse set of topics including digital preservation, user experiences for desktop and mobile video conferencing, and mobile systems and applications. Before coming to HP Labs she was on the faculty of the computer science department at Stanford University where she led the MosquitoNet and Mobile People projects. She and her students also helped design and test the distributed audit and repair protocol for the LOCKSS digital preservation system.
Research interests
Mary's research interests include distributed systems, networks, mobile systems, security, and digital preservation.
