Biography

Sujoy is a researcher in the Services and Solutions Research Lab in HP Labs. His research focuses on how business-critical applications can be transformed for large-scale cloud delivery; how this transformation can leverage IaaS and PaaS offerings from current cloud vendors; and how specialized niche services can be supported within a partner ecosystem that expands service capability, eases transition, and enables adoption with low price. Sujoy joined HP Labs in 2000 after receiving his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds Master and Bachelor degrees in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur respectively. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. He has been awarded 22 US patents, and has several more pending.
