Dr. Sahai is a senior researcher at HP Laboratories.
A multi-dimensional senior professional in the area of Network and Services
Management, web services, enterprise systems automation/management. Career is
distinguished by identifying new business trends and growth opportunities,
strong R&D skills, forging key strategic partnerships and leading rapid
development of pioneering and innovative technologies.
Currently undertaking an MBA at Wharton School of Business and majoring in
Entrepreneurial Management and Finance with additional emphasis on Marketing.
He is currently investigating the areas
of SLA based Management and Shared Services utility architectures. In the
recent past he was the lead architect of the Virtual Desktop System project. He has in the past
also investigated the areas of web service and business process management. He
was one of the initial members of the group that shaped e-speak,
Hewlett-Packard's pioneering web services technology. During this period he
designed the events, and the management infrastructure for E-speak.
Dr. Sahai undertook his Ph.D at IRISA (Institut de Recherche en Informatique
et System Aleatoires), Rennes, France. IRISA is an organization comprising
of INRIA Rennes and CNRS . His work involved broadly the areas of
network management, mobile agents and mobile computing.
He has led research earlier at MultiMedia Systems group of Kent Ridge
Digital Labs, a nerve center of research and development in the
Asia-Pacific (Now part of A-Star Singapore). He undertook his B.Tech (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),
Kharagpur, worked at TATA STEEL, the premier private sector concern in
India during 1990-1993 and thereafter pursued his M.E in Computer Science and
Automation from
