Biography

April is a member of the Multimedia Communications and Networking Lab (MCNL) in HP Labs, Palo Alto. Her expertise lies in the area of user experience research and design. Since joining HP Labs in 2002, she has worked on multiple projects including BiReality telepresence, the DJammer music manipulation device, and Halo video collaboration where she led the design for the original user interface. April received a best-paper award for her research on mobile video behavior and is the co-creator of the Gabble video conversation site.
