In the past few years I have been working on document segmentation.
My current research interests are mainly layout style analysis, document
reformation and transformation and cross platform publishing.
Before I joined Hewlett-Packard Labs,
I was a senior system engineer at Mercury Computer Systems,
working on solutions and designs for high performance embedded parallel
computer system used in medical image reconstruction and processing.
I received BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University in China and PhD
degree in Medical
Engineering and Medical Physics from Harvard-MIT
Division of Health Sciences & Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
