HP Laboratories is located on the 3rd floor of the Princeton Metro Center, 5 Vaughn Drive, Princeton, New Jersey, about 50 miles south of New York City, 45 miles northeast of Philadelphia, and 2 miles east of Princeton University.   To reach Princeton we recommend the following routes: 

BY TRAIN FROM NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

From your arrival terminal take the AirTrain monorail to the RailLink terminal. After exiting the AirTrain and before entering the RailLink terminal purchase a ticket on NJ Transit to Princeton Junction.  At Princeton Junction walk straight ahead (dinky train tracks to Princeton University to your right) through parking lot (3/10ths of a mile).  At the end of parking lot on your right is the entrance to driveway to our location, a three story building called Princeton Metro Center.  Note:  Amtrak trains are an alternate (and expensive) option to NJ Transit, though only limited Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction, check schedule.

BY TRAIN FROM NEW YORK CITY OR NEWARK, NEW JERSEY

From Penn Station, (N.Y.C, or Newark, NJ), take New Jersey Transit to Princeton Junction. From the southbound exit parking lot, walk straight ahead (dinky train tracks to your right) through parking lot (3/10ths of a mile).  At the end of parking lot on your right is the entrance to driveway to our location, a three story building called Princeton Metro Center.  Note:  Some Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction, check schedule.

BY TRAIN FROM WASHINGTON/ PHILADELPHIA 

Take Amtrak (Washington/Philadelphia) or SEPTA (Philadelphia) to Trenton, New Jersey. Change trains for New Jersey Transit to Princeton Junction.  Use tunnel underneath railroad tracks to exit at the southbound parking lot. Walk straight ahead (dinky train tracks on your right) through parking lot (3/10ths of a mile).  At the end of parking on your right is the entrance driveway to our location, a three story building called Princeton Metro Center. As an alternative to changing trains at Trenton Station, there are taxis available outside the station.  NOTE:  Some Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction, check schedule. 

BY LIMO SERVICE FROM NEWARK AIRPORT 

From Newark Airport, there is a limo service called Princeton Airporter.  Reservations must be made at (609)- 587- 6600.  Drop off point closest to HP Labs is the Hyatt Hotel; journey takes around 1 ½ hours from airport to Hyatt Hotel.  Please note the hotel is about 1 mile from HP.    

BY AUTOMOBILE FROM NEW YORK CITY/ NEWARK AIRPORT 

Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 9 New Brunswick.  USE THE TOLL BOOTH ON THE FAR RIGHT.  After the tollbooth, turn right onto the ramp towards Rt. 18 North.  Soon after, bear onto the left hand fork of the road, staying in the right lane (you will see Bennigans restaurant and a car wash which will be on your right side as you bear left). The road will take you over U.S Rt. 1 and you will bear right to a hidden exit to U.S. Rt.1 South, Trenton. These three turns occur in rapid succession.  Follow Route1 South to exit at Alexander Road East\Princeton Junction.  Note: all turns in New Jersey are made from the right hand lane.  Cross back over Route1 and follow Alexander Road east for 1 mile.  At the fourth traffic light make a left onto Vaughn Drive (across from Windsor Haven development at Bear Brook Road on your right).  Take Vaughn to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left, following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building. * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far.

BY AUTOMOBILE FROM PHILADELPHIA 

Take I-95 North to exit 67 Route 1 North, pass the Quaker Bridge Mall staying on Route 1 North. Get off at exit to Alexander Road East/ Princeton Junction (Hyatt Hotel on right) make right onto Alexander Road.  At the third traffic light (about 1 mile) make a left onto Vaughn Drive (across from Windsor Haven development at Bear Brook Road on your right).  Take Vaughn to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building.  * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far. 

BY AUTOMOBILE FROM TRENTON, NEW JERSEY 

Take U.S. Route 1 North; pass the Quaker Bridge Mall until you come to exit for Alexander Road East/ Princeton Junction (Hyatt Hotel on right) make a right onto Alexander Road. At the third traffic light (about 1 mile) make a left onto Vaughn Drive (across from Windsor Have development at Bear Brook Road on your right).  Take Vaughn to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building.  * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far. 

BY AUTOMOBILE FROM SOUTH NEW JERSEY 

New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 8 Hightstown.  Turn left after exiting the turnpike and follow signs for Route 571 (which is a right turn off route 33 in downtown Hightstown).  Go West on Route 571 for approximately 12 miles until you reach U.S Route 1 (large intersection with gas stations on three corners).  Go South on U.S. Route 1 until exit for Alexander Road East/ Princeton Junction.  Note: all turns in New Jersey are made from the right lane.  At the fourth traffic light on Alexander Rd. make a left onto Vaughn Drive (across from Windsor Have development at Bear Brook Road on your right).  Take Vaughn to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building.  * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far. 

BY AUTOMOBILE FROM WEST NEW JERSEY 

East on I-78 to Route 287 South to Route 206.  Take Route 206 South into Princeton (becomes Bayard Lane).  At three-way intersection of Bayard Lane, Nassau Street, and Route 206, turn left onto Nassau Street AND MAKE AN IMMEDIATE TURN RIGHT onto Mercer Street.  Take the first left, Alexander Street (which becomes Alexander Road).  Go thorough 3 traffic lights, cross over Route 1 (2 more lights on overpass) and continue on Alexander Road (2 more lights) for about 1 mile.  At second light make a left onto Vaughn Drive (across from Windsor Have development at Bear Brook Road on your right).  Take Vaughn to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building.  * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far. 

BY BUS FROM N.Y.C- PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL, WEST 41st   

Buy a ticket to Princeton at Suburban Transit ticket counter on the main floor of the port authority.  (YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET TO BOARD).  Gate number on the ticket.  Buses leave every half hour and take approximately 1-1/2 hours to reach Princeton. Get off at Palmer Square. Taxi stand opposite kiosk in Palmer Square.  Take a taxi to our offices.
