OATH
A solemn, formal declaration or promise to fulfill a pledge.
Peer-to-peer systems like wireless adhoc networks and Gnutellla
file sharing networks rely on a high degree of node
cooperation. However, users frequently have an incentive to not
cooperate, yet still benefit from the cooperation of others. The goal
of Oath is to develop systems that provide enough incentives for users
to ensure a high level of cooperation.
