I'm a researcher in the Information Dynamics Lab in Palo Alto. I'm interested broadly in social computing: how human-computer interaction reflects and facilitates social connections between people, and how tools and social networks influence each other. I'm also interested in how computers can adapt to individual users to improve user experience, persuasive social technology, and emergent folksonomies.
I believe in using social computing technology to motivate sustainable behavior. Join the Sustainable CHI group to learn more.
I came all the way across Page Mill from Stanford's CS department, where I was working with the HCI Group and AI lab.
In my spare time, I enjoy social dance, especially waltz and swing. I also pretend to play the piano and cook, sometimes even creating melodious sounds or edible food. |
