Senior Research Scientist (HP Labs Palo Alto)
Multimedia Communications and Networking  Laboratory

Recent Research

I apply image processing and image analysis techniques to improve the experience of browsing image collections. I have also worked on algorithms for image enhancement, including compression artifact reduction, approximate reconstruction of the digital information from a printed page, and color adjustment in YCC spaces. My work with audio has included developing technologies for exploring music collections and algorithms for enhancing audio signals.

Example Research Projects

In these pages are descriptions of a sampling of my work.  I would like to acknowledge the collaborators involved in many of these projects. To see who else is involved, please look at the author lists of the cited publications.
