Background

Raul Etkin is a staff researcher in the Information Theory group at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, in Palo Alto, California.

In December 2006 he earned Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at U.C. Berkeley, under the supervision of professors David Tse and Abhay Parekh.

He received a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley in 2003, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1998.
