I tried at one point (for about half a day or so) to get ange-ftp &
ncftp to work together.  After hacking *both* of them I think I was
only able to get ange-ftp to run ncftp & open a connection.  I *might*
have gotten a little more to work, but not much.

So, I'd say you're pretty unlikely to find a version of ange-ftp that
works with ncftp.
