EFS 1.6 bug: another ftp server on CMS

At my University's Computing centre  there is  a CMS machine
running a different ftp server softeware than the one that 
efs apparently expects.

I had a phone call with the person in charge of this machine, and was told that
the Software is from the vendor Spartacus, the Product name is KNET/VM.
"KNET/VM FTP Server Release 3.2.0"

Efs failed to recognize the server and operating system.
A patch should be easy, as both strings "KNET" and "CMS" occur
in the server replies.

I don't  have a personal need for support of this server, since I 
find it easier to ftp from cms to unix  with batch file running 
under cms (but that's not the fault of unix/emacs/efs),
I report it here anyway just in case the efs maintainers 
want to include support for it.

if you need more details on the server software (I don't know an
anonymously accessible site)
