EFS 1.6 bug: Multiple copies failure

To whom it may concern:

We have been noticing that sometimes when a number of files are marked a
subsequent copy will copy only the first file, although all files are listed in
the *Marked files* buffer.  There is no error, the copy simply stops after the
first file is copied.  In case it is relevant, the marked files are in a
subtree in a dired buffer.
