Thanks for the reply and the reassuring words that DOS support is being
worked out.  On the other hand, as far as I can tell, NT support is not
working at all.

Is the next release going to include NT support?

I'll be more than happy to alpha/beta test the NT support as soon as it's available.

p.s., Although I use 19.22 on a Sun box, I'm also using a port of emacs 19.17
(contact voelker@cs.washington.edu) on an NT box.  It handles the NT directory
paths almost perfectly.  He may be able to contribute some ideas as to how to
enable NT support in efs.
