EFS 1.6 bug: VMS files starting with . (dot)

When I'm in a dired buffer containing a listing obtained via EFS from a VMS
host, and try to access a filename starting with a dot (.) using any dired
command (I tested 'f', 'v', and 'C'), EFS complains "No file on this line".

Also, if multiple files in a directory start with a dot, the first file in
the directory isn't displayed in the dired buffer. The file does appear when
I do a DIR on the directory in the EFS internal ftp buffer.

The rest of the info generated by efs-report-bug follows my sig (including a
line about "efs believes that the host type of hmcvax.ac.hmc.edu is
unknown", which I didn't add).
