Dired 7.5 bug: first machine in .netrc not (fully?) registered

Dear Debuggers,
Appended to the bottom of this message are my .netrc followed by the
file it includes. The first machine entry (as the alphabet would have
it) is anubis... This name appears somehow not been registered for
name completion:
C-x d /anu TAB
yields
[No match]
It doesn't help to repeat the name, as the text makes obvious, but if
anubis... is made the second entry it works.
Otherwise the new features for .netrc, comments and includes, are a
very nice improvement: the files are now short, informative and easy
to maintain. Many hearty thanks.
