CMS bug in 1.14

Fellow efs'ers:

I have just obtained 1.14 and put it through the CMS tirture test.  I edited
the file AFFINE FORTRAN on my 191 mini-disk, and low and behold, this file now
appears twice in the Dired buffer.  Here are the first few lines:

In fact, editing the file yet again creates a third entry, and so on.
