EFS 1.14 bug: didn't recognize FTP Software server

Gruss bug team:

My dired on my local PC directory (running FTP software's 
FTP server) indicates that this is a "dos:ncsa" machine,
not FTP software's server.  This does not seem to cause me
any difficulty, but it does appear to be a bug in the
server recognition.
