Good news folks.  Richard has agreed to change fileio.c in GNU Emacs
so that make_directory_internal uses its own OP symbol.  Michael are
you passing this on to the XEmacs people, or shall I get in touch with
Chuck?

Also, XEmacs users, does efs 1.9 work with 19.11?  Do we need an
efs-x19.11?  Have the problems in Lucid Emacs 19.10 with lisp
variables in fileio.c not being GC protected for calls to
find-file-name-handler been fixed?
