Yes and yes---but 19.26 is in pretest right now so you can just FTP
the file

Your core dump problems will stop when you upgrade to 19.25.95 (the
pretest) or the official 19.26 when it comes out later.  As always,
don't expect to see 19.26 released at any given date---it will be
released when the FSF releases it and they don't like to be tied down
to any specific date.  That's why I mentioned emacs.xtar.gz's location
so you can get it if you don't want to wait for 19.26.
