efs-1.12 and archie.el

There seems to be some conflict between the dired in efs-1.12 and the
archie.el I just sent out.  I seem to be running only efs-1.11, and
have no problem, but one user running efs-1.12 reports archie.el
doesn't load (some problem about a nil keymap).  His experience and my
reading of archie don't seem to converge on an explanation; I'm
snarfing 1.12 now.

In the mean time, has anyone else used that archie with 1.12?
