Yes, my thoughts too.  I haven't made this a high priority though,
because the difference between an abort transfer command (ABOR) and a
kill and restart is only a couple of seconds.  The ABOR command is
what the FTP client is supposed to send to abort a transfer in
progress.  I think most clients send this if given a quit signal.  If
anybody is interested, the protocol for ABOR is on page 34 of RFC 959.
