To recap, my suggestion was that an EFS distribution similar in size to the
current ange-ftp (which basically provides the same behavior with fewer
features) be made.  The maintainers of EFS seemed to agree that a 'core'
distribution is a good idea since they had already created such a thing.  I
was not objecting to the size of a particular package but to the growth in
space needed to provide nearly the same functionality as is already provided.

I probably have way more disk space available than many other people, so
space is not a problem to me personally, but I thought this might be an area
where we could limit some growth without having much effect on the behavior
provided.  If no one else feels this way, then by all means include a full
distribution of EFS.
