Please e-mail me if any of these issues are important to you, and I will try
to prioritise fixes.
-
Line and column numbers refer to the location of the
end of the XML element tag
rather than the appropriate attribute.
This will not be fixed.
-
Xerces 2 incorrectly permits xml elements and attributes
such as "rdf:0" and "rdf:-4".
See
Xerces bugzilla. (This is in Xerces version 2.2.1).
-
Does not include normalizing transcoder support.
This is needed for correct processing of some non-European character sets.
-
Possible problem, not verified, is that
Xerces (version 1.4.2 and before) had a
memory leak.
If this is still present in Xerces 2 then
this may create problems for
reading large files, or using ARP in a server.
-
Please e-mail me with any further issues.
