Most of my current research is in the area of the semantic web.
I do not have up-to-date links from here to that work.
My son asked me to link to
Micah Carroll's homepage, in an effort to be part of the Web.
Most of this site is about the 6-Venn Triangle problem, which
I solved at the end of 1999.
One solution is above,
here are all 126.
A solution to this problem is a picture of six overlapping triangles, such that:
- For each combination of triangles there is precisely one part of
the picture contained within those triangles and not the others.
- There are hence 63 different faces in the picture.
- No three lines meet at a point.
A counting argument, based on Euler's formula, shows that there are no 7-Venn
triangles.
