Atomic_ops downloads

A recent version of libatomic_ops is libatomic_ops-7.2.tar.gz. This was extracted from the bdwgc source tree, and uses its version number, which is significantly larger than for older releases. Its immediate predecessor is libatomic_ops- 7.2alpha6.tar.gz. A newer, more experimental, version is libatomic_ops- 7.3alpha2.tar.gz. A much older version is libatomic_ops-1.2. These have unfortunately not yet been integrated into a qprof release.

Really ancient versions:
Very old versions of the atomic operations package installed themselves as "ao", which sometimes led to installation conflicts with the libao audio library. Avoid installing these in standard system directories.
Pre-1.0 versions were distributed primarily as a part of qprof.
