HP labs have been at the
forefront of Semantic Web research since 2000, helping to create
the standards,
contributing key technology
pieces (notablyJena and Joseki) and conducting basic
research. HP is also part
of several collaborative ventures. We have built a
number of semantic web
applications, for both external and internal clients. We are
always interested in talking to customers and partners with an
interest in semantic web technologies.
The Semantic Web Group
in Bristol labs regularly hosts students for University
placement projects. Some of these students are required to do an
industrial placement as part of their first degree, others may
be graduates working with us on their research project for a
Masters thesis. Placements can last anything from 4 months to a
year. You can read
