Printers and Print Management Agencies : Their Current Challenges

Abstract: This paper reports upon a small interview-based survey of printers and print management agencies carried out in Europe in the autumn of 2000. The interviews focused upon printers and print management agencies who deal mostly with medium size enterprises, and national and multi-national corporations, whose print requirements are for the most part characterised by complexity and the uniqueness of each print project. The main foci of the interviews were the print industry's current business and technology environments, changes in these environments and their effects upon their businesses.
