Action Bubble Metaphor for Gestural Interaction using Depth Camera in a Multi-user Scenario

Abstract: In this report we propose a novel concept to enable efficient multi-user computer interaction. To demonstrate the concept we make use of a depth-sensor based computer system. The proposed concept is aimed at developing a quantitative measure to inform the computer when and with whom to interact. It works simultaneously for multiple users at different/same distance from the computer. We have tested the concept in various cases and results demonstrate the efficacy of our approach.
