Abstract: The key elements required to enable an "Everything-as- a-Service" economy include technologies for servers, storage, networking and IT management necessary to deliver Infrastructure as a Service, technologies for a shared cloud infrastructure that provides enterprise-grade security, scalability and quality of service for delivering Platforms as a Service, and novel consumer and enterprise services for the cloud delivered as Software as a Service.
