Abstract: This document describes a new ASN.1 compiler that has several new and powerful features. It compiles full 1988 standard ASN.1 including all types and values, import/export, subtypes and so on. It handles recursive module definitions, and allows interactive correction of parse errors. It also has a macro processing capability, allowing macro definitions to be compiled on-the-fly, with the user supplying the semantics of the macro (over and above simple macro expansion).
