Abstract: The authors consider the resilience to narrowband interference of both direct sequence (DS) and frequency hopped (FH) spread spectrum systems operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. The performance metric used is the system operating range at defined packet failure rates, for specified levels of interference.
