Hi,

I am a noob to make-install in linux so sorry if this is a stupid question:

To build a working version of the collector on my debian wheezy with the
recommended commands using the stable version
gc_source/gc-7.2d.tar.gz<https://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Hans_Boehm/gc/gc_source/gc-7.2d.tar.gz>but
got this during "make":

libtool: link: (cd ".libs" && rm -f "libcord.so.1" && ln -s
"libcord.so.1.0.3" "libcord.so.1")
libtool: link: (cd ".libs" && rm -f "libcord.so" && ln -s
"libcord.so.1.0.3" "libcord.so")
libtool: link: ar cru .libs/libcord.a  cordbscs.o cordprnt.o cordtest.o
cordxtra.o
libtool: link: ranlib .libs/libcord.a
/bin/sed: can't read GC/gc-7.2/libgc.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `GC/gc-7.2/libgc.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[1]: *** [libcord.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/myhomehere/GC/gc-7.2'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

Should the make command work on debian?
If so, any ideas to "make it work"?

Thx!
