Abstract: In an increasingly competitive environment, the delivery of IT services needs to be articulated around standard management frameworks and best practices. This paper is based upon an analysis of a Hewlett-Packard (HP) Information Technology (IT) program and presents how the CobiT framework contributed to the enhancement of the formulation and implementation of the program strategy. The result of our study is a waterfall of balanced scorecard built on the goals and enablers specified in CobiT and a mapping to HP IT Service Management (ITSM) processes ensuring the instantiation of some of the aspects of the strategy.
